Really cold in fact- so cold that anything less than three layers is regarded as slinky (in my books anyway)- and the thought of going out without something that resembles a nana-knitted tea cosy on my head is considered somewhat of a travesty- meaning out come the cable knits, tights-under-jeans-combo (I won't tell if you won't) and the mother of all coats, the shearling-style (comedy) jacket.
