Dress Over Pants

Jacket, Danier. Dress, Lush. Jeans, Zara. Pumps, Kelsi Dagger. Purse, Rebecca Minkoff. Sunglasses, Celine. Bracelet, Child of Wild. Rings: Child of Wild, Nasty Gal, Samantha Wills. This is my take on wearing a dress over pants, as inspired by Chanel's Fall/Winter '12 show, or more recently, Kenzo's 2014 Fall/Winter lineup. I'll be honest, I was always and admirer of this trend, however never had the courage to pull it off. The true motivator for me to finally layer a dress over pants (skinny jeans in this case) was the extreme cold and a longing for Spring. End result: love it, regret not trying it sooner.
