About a week ago I had a three day stint in which everyone and everything was annoying. It was completely ridiculous. Last Sunday morning I put Grant in timeout in the hallway at church for behavior at the tail end of the service. As Grant sat in timeout, I also sat, still fuming (even I need a timeout sometimes). It wasn't until that moment that I realized that if everyone was annoying me, then the problem wasn't them, it was me. What an epiphany, right? I'm so glad it hit me too. I went to class and shared my need to refocus and desire for some me time. Brian came to class and let me know they needed him for cameras during the 9:30 and 11:11 service...
