What I Wore: Breaking Fashion Rules, And Loving It
Among the supposed no-no's for women over 50 (call me thisclose to 60) are graphic tees and girly-girly stuff. Too bad, so sad. I am enjoying my cat tee (ASOS, similar ) and trusty old tulle skirt (Old Navy, similar ). I bet oxfords ( sim ) with skirts are frowned upon too, not being "Classic" enough for us old broads. I wouldn't have worn this to the office or to a business meeting, but it's great for singing lessons. I do have rules (nothing too short, too tight, or too low-cut) but they're just for me.
