Dream Piece: The Opera Coat
I’ve been looking for the perfect opera coat for a long time and while I was in Austin at Garment Modern I found the one! I love the dramatic sleeves and elegant length. I kind of like it best dressed down with jeans. I grew up watching The Thin Man series with Myrna Loy over and over…I always loved her 30s deco wardrobe. This piece reminds me of her!
Worn with Anine Bing skinny jeans , Margiela snakeskin clutch , a Madewell tank top , and my beloved Miu Miu dragonfly heels from years back.
