Handkerchief Hemlines

If I had to define my favorite time of year — like, in a more specific manner than just seasons — it’d be “leather weather.” Or faux leather weather, in today’s case. This winter was brutal, wasn’t it? Man. Not necessarily in terms of snow, but endurance-wise — it just lasted a really, really long time. I’m going to leave the weather talk at that for today, as I would rather not jinx us and wake up with a foot of snow on the ground this weekend. Leave it to me (and half of Manhattan, actually) to bust out bare legs ( AHEM ) on the first 60-some degree day of the season. Like a smiling,...
