Donuts are loved by everyone because they are obviously delicious but also an iconic representation of North American culture.
I remember watching Homer Simpson scarf down a donut like there was no tomorrow, and eating my first Krispie Cream on a summer road trip.
When I was a kid my brothers and I would hoard the free donuts in a motel lobby acting like we had never seen a donut before. I used to love going to the grocery store with my mom knowing that I could probably persuade her into buying a set of bear claws...
