This weekend was a special occasion in my family, so I trekked home for the celebrations. On Saturday, my sweet stepfather Rick turned 65 and celebrated his retirement after 40 years with the State of Washington Department of Corrections. My mama threw a big party with friends and family, not to mention pulled pork sandwiches, salads, fruit and wine. I had so much fun catching up with my favorite people, including this sweet young thing .
