DIY Printed Maxi Dress
Hello Lovelies! Today I’m showcasing a diy printed maxi dress. I’ve had this jersey knit fabric in my stash for quite some time and thought it would be perfect for a summer maxi dress. I used a modified version of Butterick 5454 view B for the bodice. I initially planned to have 3/4 sleeves, but then decided against them because the print of my dress is so busy I felt a bit more skin showing would help to balance it all. I also ended up making my bodice into a wrap around top with the tie belt. For my skirt I decided to just use a self drafted straight skirt as opposed to a wrap skirt.
