Getting the Boot

I can't say I am fully ready to part ways with Summer and everything that it's brought me. The heat, the feeling ; carefree, slip-on-and-go. There's something to be said about keeping your look (and life!) minimal and effortless. When we're on the go, with little time to spare on sleeping in, slowing down, or soaking it all in, a work week can seem never-ending, at best. It's then that we resort to hump-day happy hours and friYay's ; the after work unwind. On the weekends, I brunch, as a verb. If there's a perfect balance between grunge meets girl, it's lacing up some boots and throwing on a dress that's barely there - but is actually, all there and right on time. ...
