Lucky Me
Last week, I shared just how overwhelming my life has felt lately. There’s something scheduled every single day and night from dawn to dusk (and even later) for the next few weeks. I had made a promise to myself to take an afternoon off and spend some quiet time doing a whole lot of nothing.
And then the awaited day came, and stuff came up. Suddenly, I had deadlines to meet, and my quiet afternoon threatened to become another day of busyness.
