Pumpkin Picking

Remember my October to-do list ? On Sunday I crossed off task #1: picking a pumpkin! (I’m also well on my way to completing task #4, blowing my shopping budget.) When I say “picking” a pumpkin, I mean it in the “selecting” sense, not the actual picking off a vine sense. I live in a city, after all. But I’m pretty confident the pumpkin was grown not too far away because I got it at a place called Locally Grown Gardens , just a few blocks from my house.
