Missing You While I’m Away
At this very moment I’m out of the country.
Away from my family and missing them dearly.
Months ago when I found out the dates of my mission trip , I realized that I’d be missing my daughter’s 6th birthday! That was yesterday. Birthdays are a pretty big thing around these parts. It’s a super extra-special day. So softly and carefully I told her of the situation. Luckily for me, she understood and didn’t seem to have a care in the world. Whew, crisis averted.
