We spent a good portion of our time in the Dominican Republic in the poolside cabanas- a mix of Dominican colonial architecture with a Palm Beach influence. It’s the spot where you want to be, filled with cozy lounge sections and big plush peacock chairs. I curled up with a page turner ( The Nightingale , so good!) and a piña colada, which are two of my favorite things while on holiday.
