How YOU Helped Me Have My Own Home
At the age of 25 something really, really awesome happened. I was able to find my own home. I had worked for it, cried, spent countless nights hoping and trying to work towards something. I wanted my own place. I had lived in an apartment before, but it was with someone else. After that relationship ended, I moved into my parents basement. The exactly dreamy tale that every 20-something just LOVES to tell people. "I live in my parents basement." I waited and waited and honestly thought that I was never, ever going to be able to have my OWN place. My own place.
