The FAB Journey Let’s talk about wearing short dresses after 40 . Wearing Short Dresses After 40 My favorite dress or skirt length is just below the knee cap. This length is the most flattering and proportional for my figure. However, I don’t like the idea of closing myself off to other options; especially when I find something fun on sale! I found this cute dress on sale at Express (similar dress here ), but it was considerably shorter than I prefer to wear. So, I added leggings to make a cute outfit. The thin yellow belt lends a pop of color to this monochromatic scheme. I could also have layered some slim black pants...
