Less Than The Sum Of Its Parts

This is one of those outfits where I liked the individual components, but somehow they never became a cohesive whole. I liked this shirt with these jeans, I liked the color combination of navy + light blue + pink, and I liked the owl brooch peeking out of the shirt pocket (I was inspired by these shirts – even though my owl isn’t hiding anything :P). And yet the whole outfit was just one big “MEH”. Maybe it’s the shoes. Something lighter – like sandals, maybe – would bring this together better. Next time!
