“Home is where the heart is.”
Do you ever miss home? Although my heart burns bright for the city of Chicago, and I often can’t imagine living anywhere else, I long for my family and hometown.
I was born and raised in Indianapolis and subsequently didn’t go far from home for college. At that time, Bloomington (Indiana University – GO BIG RED!) was as far as I had been from home for any long period of time. And while I still have the luxury of going home to Indy whenever I want – it’s just a short 4 hour drive – I sometimes get this overwhelming sense that I am missing out on my families lives – or – that they are equally missing out on mine....
