Foot patrol: plaid slipdress, denim jacket, and western-style mules
I can't believe it, dear readers...but I've managed to injure my foot!! Again !! My legs and feet have been my Achilles heel - pardon the pun! - for about as long as I can remember. I've had my ankle accidentally slammed in a car door by my dad and gruesomely impaled on a screen door by the wind; and I once somehow managed to get my baby toe caught in porch glider (don't ask!!) The most serious, of course, was my broken foot and the resultant DVT two years ago; the side effects of that are something that I'll be dealing with for the rest of my life.
