After we got back from Italy, Emil and I decided to spend a few days somewhere close to the beach, so we got a charming, little house on Venice Beach right in time for my family's visit from Toronto. We've always loved this area, my family in particular, because we enjoy how lively, yet relaxing and easy-going it is! The are so many wonderful restaurants in the area ( if you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love Gjelina ) but we also love getting breakfast at Cafe Gratitude, which has the most delicious vegetarian and vegan options, and smoothies at Kreation ( currently equally obsessed with Berryatric and Green-tastic ).
