A jacket around the waist has become a necessity here in NC since the temperatures have finally started to cool off in the morning but are still in the 80s come afternoon. I can’t believe it’s October and we’re still talking about how warm it is, I don’t feel like the heat lasted so long last year, but then again, I can hardly remember what I did yesterday, so I may have forgotten. Speaking of warm temps and fall- one thing I’m not sad about is the fact that in NC we all pretty much wear open toe shoes...
