Dressing Like Granny
I’ve graduated from Tita dressing into grandma dressing, and I’m definitely staying here for a while. These wise women have got it right! I’ve always been drawn to more mature pieces- jewel tones, lace, high neck tops and sleek/sensible shoes ever since I was younger. I loved the irony of seeing a young girl wearing regal pieces. For instance, when Mom and I would go shopping, she’d always pick out a colorful leather bag for herself, and I’d always be drawn to the snakeskin, embellished or velvet pieces.
