Teal & Tweed || Bespoke Suit & Beau Gant Glove
Dreams do come true! Eric made me the most beautiful couture powder blue Scottish tweed suit, with roped shoulders and hand embroidered beading & pearls. We combined elements of the 30's - 50's, with a focus on the 40's. Strong pagoda shoulder & intricate beading of the 1940's, a nipped waist & powder pastel color of the 1950's, and a darted double vented skirt of longer length from the 1930's. Traditional arrowhead tacks embellish the front of the skirt {hand done as always - non fused} and matching the jacket, pearl buttons adorn the back. As with true bespoke, you can see that the jacket holds it's shape even on the dressform, without any pinning...
