Awards Ceremony Outfit

The Oscars were last night, with all the glitz and glamour. But the night before that were the Actra Awards – the ceremony in Canada where member of the professional actors union are honored. Every year it’s fun, and the last two years I’ve been smart – I’ve worn flats. It’s not as glam as the Oscars, so I can still go for comfort: a soft, stretchy cocktail dress and cute flats. That way I can laugh and dance without a concern. So while this may not be what I’d choose to wear to the Oscars, it works for the more low key glitz events.
