When: Saturday before last // Weather: chilly // Real life: attending a dinner party
I’m not sure when I turned in to someone old enough to go to dinner parties, but it happened and I’m not mad about it. #1: The dress code is flexible (and what is a sequin sweatshirt if not flexible?) #2: As long as you bring something decent to share, you get to take advantage of your friends who are actually good cooks. #3: You can have multiple glasses of wine without spending all your lunch money for the following week. And by lunch money I mean shoe money, let’s be honest.
Basically, dinner parties and cheaper car insurance...
