When spring comes and the trees start to blossom I go out on my annual pilgrimage of sorts to some very special spots around the city. You will see in the next few posts where exactly these places are and why they are so fascinating. My absolute favorite thing is not necessarily a spot but a tree, a magnolia tree. When in full bloom it's absolutely spectacular and I could spend hours on end watching it. Don't care too much about the "palace" behind it, or the infamous gypsy owners, but I have to admit they have excellent landscaping tastes.
