springtime print mixing
flowers, polka dots, stripes, butterflies -- can they be worn together? the answer is, 'yes' (!!!). initially, print mixing can feel utterly intimidating. you may ask yourself, 'do these items go together?' ; 'are these prints too busy?' ; 'do i look ridiculous?' ; etc. while these questions are valid, print mixing doesn't have to be a scary closet-experiment. in fact, i've come to love mixing and matching different pieces (various prints included), as it's a great way to restyle items in your closet. when brainstorming this outfit (which i often do while browsing pinterest or sitting in traffic on the bus), i wasn't sure what top to pair with...
