Beautiful Half Moon Bay
California. What comes to mind when I think of California. Well, a few things. Beverly Hills, San Diego, sunshine, beaches, Disneyland, surfing, Santa Monica blvd, taco trucks, La Hoya, and San Francisco. Here is the crazy thing about traveling to new places though. Sometimes (often actually) you visit a place you have never been and it is unlike anything you expected. That is precisely what happened to us when we visited Half Moon Bay. Upon arrival, we felt more like we were in Scotland than California, and it was fantastic. Crisp ocean air, cliffs hiding amidst the fog, and a green covering that I had never quite seen in the Cali.
