august has arrived, and we are busy here at the djalali house with a few outdoor diy projects. ahem, i have all three of my kiddo’s home to help with some heavy lifting. there are several zones to our backyard, and zone 1 is getting a major overhaul. the first step was to remove a tree which a local tree removal company did two weeks ago. afterward, our landscape contractor removed the stump and roots then tilled the yard to primp and preen it for grass, shrubs, raised beds to grow herbs and a barbecue station. there’s always prep work before any project commences...
