Smoke screen: striped skinny jeans, sequinned tee, straw fedora and a damask-patterned kimono
There should be pretty mountain views in all these pics, dear readers ... but unfortunately, Vancouver has been smothering under a blanket of wildfire smoke for an entire week now. It's really weird to see the sky such an unchanging shade of grey day after day; and the sun - when it manages to break through the screen of smoke for a while - isn't the friendly yellow that we're accustomed to, but as red as it would normally be only at sunset. And yet, we really have no right to complain - a huge part of British Columbia's interior is still struggling to control the wildfires, and tens of thousands of people have been displaced from their homes.
