OOTD 8.2.2012 :: SHINY!
Now is truly a blessed time in fashion, for now designers love sparkles and sequins. They used to be tacky; they will be tacky again. Our kids will look at our photos 20 years from now and laugh at our shininess, much as I laugh at acid wash and leg warmers. (Although leg warmers…I get it.)
I love sequins. Any chance to wear them is fine by me (1 2 3). This Express top is great because it’s very lightweight and so are the sequins. I think it’s weird when you try on a sequin top that pulls downward — you know that’s going to be trouble after a couple of wears. This top avoids that problem and when it catches the sun it projects shiny...
