How I bemoan the arrival of September. The shift in temperatures already evident, the unmistakable chill in the air, which if I were a proper blogger would send me into a frenzy, pulling out sweaters and boots (didn't I just pack those away a few weeks ago?!) and fur vests! Yes, I can forgive booties with a dress or lightweight sweaters, but fur vests in August? Don't lie to me, you've got to be overheating in that! I know I should just learn to appreciate the arrival of fall, rather than fighting it tooth and nail, as if there is a thing in the world I could do to change it.
