Getting into a work outfit rut seems to occur at least four times a year for me particularly when the weather gets so hot and sticky that all I can think about is what top/dress will best mask pit stains. I had fallen into a grey/khaki trousers and breezy top routine and the only antidote was structure and bright colors. Enter in the below "you can see me coming from a mile away" outfit. It was a bold choice evident by the many stares garnered by my fellow 9 to 5ers, but its boldness was necessary. Maybe its the orange belt or maybe its the bright skirt or maybe its the even brighter jacket, but this get up evokes images of Scooby Doo for me. Like this outfit might be...
