Giethoorn
Giethoorn has been the highlight of our trip to Holland and as much as I loved all the tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, this little town gave me the most relaxing feel ever. We were super lucky to walk through its canals and bridges almost by ourselves, because it was King’s Day in Holland and everyone was visiting larger cities where they’ve had concerts. We didn’t mind that and actually felt privileged to walk in the city that has no car roads, just a narrow street and those over 180 bridges.
