A Summer's Day
A weekend perfectly spent in Malibu. The Getty Villa is one of my favorite places to spend a weekend morning in Malibu. You can call it an overrated spot as a tourist, but I think it's so underrated as a local getaway. I think of the Getty Villa as highly as I consider the MET in New York City as a visual place of splendor, inspiration, a place where even amongst the biggest tourist crowd, you will find space for solitude. The Getty Villa does a great job of limiting the crowd size with allotted reservation times for guests.
