Natalie’s and my recent four day trip to Singapore was quite the treat! And even though we were there for a short period of time, I knew even before taking the trek there that this trip would be worth it. Southeast Asia is a strong part of my identity, for our mother was born in Singapore and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have visited many times since I was a young child, and many memories have been made that are still strong in my mind.
