Santa Barbara: A Weekend of Pretending to Be Meryl Streep
Around this time last year, I had the chance to attend the premiere of Home Again , which is directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, the daughter of director Nancy Meyers. The film is cute (though with a slightly hard-to-buy plot), but what really made me love it is the decor of the home the main character, Alice (played by Reese Witherspoon) lives in. It’s very LA chic, with lots of cozy couches, beautiful wood pieces and fun pops of color. Watching the movie made me want to pack my bags and move to a Spanish-style home of my own in LA.
Of course, this made me remember how much I love Nancy Meyers movies, so I set about rewatching her entire filmography. And...
