Flying Out…
…is awesome, but travelling for 30 hours is so not.
They dropped me off at the airport. She was very sad that I was leaving, whereas I was excited about an adventure. I knew I would miss them, but I also knew I’d be back. In the meantime, it would be nice to venture out into the world solo.
Check in and security were a breeze – in fact they were downright empty, and I’ve never had that happen to me yet.
I was excited to begin my trip tea in hand and all eagerness.
Oh how stupid and naive I was. Let me just say that thirty hours of travel, with two layovers, in economy sucks big time! I had no sleep, was totally cramped, had...
