Outsider
You know that moment when you say something and suddenly the room goes quiet?
Yeah, that happens a lot. I tend to
speak or laugh loudly when everyone else is quiet. Or sit quietly in
the corner when everyone else is speaking and laughing. It may not be
a big deal, but it’s always awkward. Always.
It feels like my timing is always just
a little bit off….either too far ahead or just a step behind.
Generally, just out of sync with the metronome of the universe.
Why I didn’t become a professional piano player, I’ll never know.
