Weekend Getaway in Belgium
Have you ever had a weekend where you need a weekend to recover for your weekend? This was one of those. One of the best things about living in London is close proximity to so many other European capitals. Saturday evening on walking between bars on a Belgium beer tour a couple turned to us and said what you’re just here for the weekend? And the answer is yes, we just spent the last 48 hours in Belgium but it’s not crazy when you consider it’s only a two hour train ride from London (heck, I know New Yorkers who take far longer going to the Hamptons or Jersey Shore for the weekend).
