Niagara River
Start where you want, and drive all the way to the other end.
The river changes. Starting at the mouth of the river at the Peace Bridge, and driving along Lake Erie towards Niagara-on-the-lake, the quite the experience. At first the river is next to you, calm, wide and lolling. Almost like a lazy friend accompanying you along, then the vast violence and majestic beauty of the Falls happens.
Afterwards, the river is far below and apart, tossed and turned by the fast moving rapids and the white water caps belying the strength. All along, you’re treated to the wide variety of gulls, and other birds that have made it home.
