Our Wedding Vietnamese Tea Ceremony
Being Vietnamese American, I grew up learning two very different cultures. I would try to balance (and sometimes struggle with) what I learned from school and friends versus what was taught at home by my immigrant parents. When it came to our wedding, it was similar – Jeff and I knew exactly what we wanted in our American wedding, but my mom had many Vietnamese wedding requirements of her own.
