I’ve spent a good chunk of time in Las Vegas over the past decade, not totally out of choice, more out of circumstance. You see, Vegas is a bit of a marmite place. There are people that love the bright lights, shows, parties and massive swimming pools, the yard-long cocktails and huge buffets. It’s a certain kind of holiday, and whilst I get the appeal, I’m not one of those people. My visits to Vegas revolve around time with family, and whilst spending time with them over the years, I’ve worked out the places in and around the city that do appeal.
