Five Days on the Amalfi Coast: Positano, Italy
Of our two weeks in Italy , we spent the most time on the Amalfi Coast—and visiting this region was the number one reason why I wanted to return to Italy in the first place. We chose to base ourselves in Positano, likely the best known town on the Amalfi Coast, for our stay. It is absolutely beautiful, and but a slightly logistical challenging place—particularly as we stayed at a charming AirBnB up high in the hills, which meant we had to walk down the stairs for about 30 minutes to get to the beach, and getting up, as you can imagine, was quite a hike. (We usually took cabs, but they could be hard to come by as well as expensive.)
