The World is Burning
The world is burning. And a huge part of me says let it burn.
Yes, fire is destructive, but it is also cleansing. It takes away the dead growth, the sick, and the diseased, and makes a fertile soil for something new. We’ve poisoned our planet, and we treat each other as lower because of skin color or gender. I’m sick. I’m sick of seeing pain. And my hope is now that something new and bright will grow out of this. Otherwise, we’ve learned nothing.
