Have you noticed people talking about intersectional environmentalism a lot on social media lately and wonder what it means? Well it’s a relatively new term for what is essentially The 3 Pillars of Sustainability a concept that grew from the 2002 Earth Summit, but more on that later. Intersectional environmentalism is used to describe the inclusion of racial and social justice within the framework of environmental justice.
