his face on the slide, omg

Since becoming a mom, there have been so many moments that I wish I could just bottle up and put on a storage shelf, sharpie-marker labeled with "so you don't have to miss this someday". Like lately, when Everett has been sitting on my lap while I eat, insisting that he hold my food {finger food of course} so that he can be the one to put it in my mouth, and then his, and then mine. Or a quick dinner at dusk together, during the first evening this season that the humidity has given way to the crisp. And a first ride down the slide. Even things like when Everett stands at my knees while I wash dishes in the morning, pulling on my pants and letting me know that he's ready...
