The Wedding Day That Wasn't
We were supposed to be getting married last weekend but back in July made the decision to postpone until next year. To mark the occasion our parents arranged for an afternoon tea to be sent to the house and my friend Rachel sent us wine and chocolates. That evening we went for a meal at the venue and had a look at the outdoor structure that we will be using for the ceremony next year, but which wasn't completed until a couple of weeks ago. The weather was wedding-perfect this past weekend so fingers crossed for a repeat in September 2021; warm, sunny, dry but not too hot for Joe in a waistcoat and suit! ...
