The Season of Things
Today was exactly the kind of day I love. We slept in late. I puttered around in my bathrobe for a while, drinking my coffee. Then I made a big country breakfast complete with biscuits and two kinds of homemade jelly--Violet and Dandelion--and then as we gathered around breakfast, we engaged in.......Conversation!! And not just pop-culture dribble, but real, meaningful conversation about current events and eternal things. And, my children had........Intelligent things to say!!!!! Then we went outside to do all the outside things one has to do on a farm. Watering things, feeding things, building things, testing out the new bread oven--more to come on...
