Joe booked dinner for the two of us at The Hut in Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight as a surprise. It was recommended to him when he was skiing with colleagues back in March and he booked it whilst I was laying in my hospital bed having had my appendix removed. Yes, he was away when I was in hospital but I insisted he went as I assumed my stomach ache was nothing major as I trotted off to work... whoops!
